You'll get a lot of help from the veterans--but, yes the chips are to stay at the table and are not supposed to walk. Since the chips can be used no matter the table stakes, the casinos don't want some one to wallk off with 25 cent chips and then later return when the chips are valued at a buck. And yes there is a way to harvest them...but ole Trav doesn't harvest as he doesn't want to go to jail. He will, however, fence (buy) roulettes from the harvesters.
