Hi all. I told Andy (Hughes) about these chips while at BARGE a couple weeks ago, but I thought I'd get the opinions of the group.

I have a yellow $5 chip and a white $1,000 chip, both in uncirculated condition. On them in a nice gold hot stamp is "1979 World Series of Poker Champion Hal Fowler" (yes, he won the main event in 1979, some say it was a fluke).

Anyway, Andy thought they might be from a home set of Fowler, but that was just a guess. I've not seen these in a book, nor have I seen them in any other denomination.

If anyone can tell me anything about these 2 chips, I'd sure appreciate it. I will scan them when I have a little more time (very busy these days).
