"Do you design all of the Chips for the Palms?"
Depends on what you are calling design.
Do I design them with a computer program? No
I do tell the manfacturer, what I want and where I want it. It sometimes takes 5 or 6 tries.
I have the original art for all the tries. When you lay them out, you can see the evolution of the chip.
I have in the past drew pictures of what I want and sent them, like the 1st Fiesta April Fool chip.
Sometimes it is a real challenge to get everything we want on a chip.
There are days, I spend several hours back and forth with a manfacturer trying to get art work correct to meet a deadline.
I try to stay way ahead ot the 6 week time line to get chip art, gaming approval, and production time, but it is not always possible.

Today I was handed pictures with a 5 week lead time and logos are not yet created. Busy Monday coming!
I think Chipco and myself hold the record for producing an LE. 9 days from start to delivery. It took calling in a lot of favors in all the steps. Its fun, and I love it.
