I had the same questions some years ago concerning one of the Tunica roulettes - I think it was Hollywood. I had a rather old worn chip with perfect gold hot stamping and a brand new chip with silver hot stamping. I never could convince anyone that they were variations but I kept one of each anyway. Is there some way that the machine doing the hot stamping could print only the siver and miss the gold?
