Living in Essex County New Jersey! The taxes are high here! Why you may ask? because all of the suburban towns here have to give a lot of financial support to the City of Newark which supposedly only rakes in 12% taxes from residents and business so therefore the rest of the county has to give money to them and as a result of no money for our town causes the municipal services here to severely suck!!
