Here is the craps layout that I use. Its a 60 inch wide standard layout (available at Craps R Us). The important thing to concider when using a craps layout is dice bumpers! Unless you dont mind chasing the dice, its a must. I made mine from 5" x 5/8" pine. I then covered the inside with carpet foam padding Glued in...not stapled. If stapled you'll most likely have dimples. The sections were then covered with green felt which was tightly stretched and then stapled.
