A couple of things.

1) You don't have to have your email forwarded. You can use the online system to access your email. You can do this easily from any computer.

2) Unless you don't anticipate remaining a club member, a club email address provides the advantage of continuity, you can change your ISP and keep your email address.

3) Use of the club email address easily identifies you as a club member to others.

4) Use of the club email address is an opportunity to advertise the club. People who see it often may choose to investigate. All they have to do is go to www.ccgtcc.org and they will find the club site.

5) ITS FREE. Personally I use six different email addresses. I use different addresses for different things. Its no more work after you enter the account into your email client. I use filters to sort my mail into various boxes. So you could easily use your club email for chipping related matters while maintaining your other address.
