UV light bulb the first one I used
In Response To: Re: UV chip varieties ??? ()

Pete,

The bigger fixture that you showed are like the small size of the flourescent lamp, This is the second one I used. You are right the UV tube are very expensive - its about $8.00 for the 15W. The bulb cost me about $4.00. Then I found in the flea market which I am using now - everything in the fixture is black with red thumb switch that you press. Then I found similar UV fixtures which I gave away to local chippers.

The UV light use by dermatologist I like but expensive - powerful too.

So I got three lamps on my table - the UV light, regular reading light and lamp that can be extended with powered bulb when I am working on the scanner. I change the bulb to UV as needed.

Jim suggested the portable UV light which Tom Leggio has for sell.
