Good contest Rick - with one exception - unless it's a trick question!

The MGM Grand never "burned down." There was a fire that did extensive damage and require extensive repairs, but the hotel didn't "burn down" in the sense that there was nothing left of it. Only portions - including the casino - were damaged.
