I used to use a commercial color copy service and photocopy each of the plastic pages I have my collection in. Now that I have the HP color printer, I scan and print on my own equipment. Cost is way down (6-7c/page vs 47c/page at the print shop). It is slower though, as I can only do one page at a time, not the two I could do on the big glass platen of the Cannon copier. I can scan about one page a minute now. The printing is slower than that, but it just queues up and I can go do something out while it finishes.
I believe Top Newby scans his collection on his laptop and takes it to shows. Maybe he will tell up how he likes that process.
