This is a specialize Advanced Shotgun Swap consisting of (3) $1 chips from anywhere EXCEPT Las Vegas and Atlantic City. I know I cant be the only one going thru Convention Withdrawal. I figured this would be the perfect time for an Advanced Shotgun Swap!

For those of you not familiar with a Shotgun Chip Swap the way it works is:
1) Those wishing to participate, email me with your name, address, and email address limited to the first 10 people plus myself.
2) I will compile a list of everyone’s information
3) After we get out 10 participants, I will email the complete list to everyone, including any updates on the board.
4) Within 2~3 days everyone on the list addresses (10) envelope to each of the others on the list, & drops (3) $1 Non LV/Non AC Trader Chip(s)’ in each of the envelopes, and mails it.

5) In the next week to ten days depending on the mail, you will receive 10 packages containing (30) new to you chips from everyone else in the Swap.

What you need are some ‘Trader Chip(s)’ that you are willing to trade for another chip (of potluck value), and a few stamps. You send to everyone on the list, everyone on the lists sends to you. You end up with 30 new to you chips for your collection. No duplicates in the same package to the same person, meaning each package you send must be three different chips. As this is a Shotgun Advanced, chips can be from anywhere as long as they are NOT from Las Vegas or Atlantic City. Keep in mind you are just trading run-of-the-mill ’Trader Chip(s)’. The lists are kept to a small number so everyone is assured to have enough “traders” and is not overwhelmed with mailing. If the past holds true, we will get a very good mix of chips and everyone fills some holes in their collections. Sounds like a pyramid? No, you get the same number of chips you send. As everyone pulls the “trigger” at the same time, there will be hundreds of chips scattering all across the country. You know who is supposed to send to you, as they will be on your list. To keep track just mark them off the list as u receive their package. Participants are asked to make sure you are available to send out your packages within the designated time. Shotgun Swaps are a fantastic way for new and old chippers alike to add to their collections. All it costs are a few stamps, and a little bit of your time. Then the BEST part of all....watching as chips from all over start coming in to you!
