I don't think that anyone interpreted Chapter membership only as a license to Club activities at the convention.
I'm sure I didn't dream up the phrase "sub-chapter", I have seen it in print. I'll have to dig through some of my stuff here to point to it directly. If I can't find it, I'll retract the statement.
The analogy to a labor union is mine. Union dues are sometimes used to support causes that aren't in the interest of the member, and I see a possible similar situation here.
As I wrote to Jim P., Chapter requirements are covered in the Bylaws. They can be changed by a majority vote of the Board of Directors, they don't require an amendment to the Constitution.
It'd be easy to to have Club related issues discussed on the Club BB IF club officers would RESPOND ON the Club BB. So far, none have on this one.
