I think he does, at least with respect to the specific comments I made in that most recent post. However, that isn't a complete answer to all of the possible issues, as he pointed out in a post last week addressing the issue of intentional fraud (which cannot be covered by insurance).

Not necessarily. As I said in an earlier post, I think it would be okay for the club to license (for a fee or otherwise) use of the club logo, so long as the insurance/liability issue is properly addressed (caveat re the intentional fraud issue Eric raised).
I think there is a trade-off between the value to the club of allowing use of the club logo by a private organization and the risk of lawsuit/liability. That trade-off would have to be evaluated on a case by case basis.
To be sure, there is no easy, one size fits all, answer to the question you asked.
