I've heard about the Metro Club at the original MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and even seen the pasted up chips that say Metro Club but this postcard I found at the Portland Expo show last week is the first mention I've seen in advertising. I've pasted the legend from the reverse onto the image so you can see both.

Does anyone else have evidence that there really was a Metro Club on the 26th floor and that it required "...$1000 just to get in"? Only mention in TCR and TGT is the paper-inlay chips I mentioned in TCR under MGM. Several chippers, including JamesC in his book, maintain these are movie props and that there never were distinct Metro Club chips.
