I feel there is a difference between the two. I collect lots of chips, $1 Nevada, Colorado, foreign, etc., but I specialize in Riverboats & Indians. The difference for me is that I will actively seek out and buy Riverboat & Indian chips that I need. I don't do that with, say, Colorado or foreign chips. I collect them also, I just don't worry much if I'm missing some.
