The last year I was Convention Chairman (2001) I sent a survey to all the dealers and it was 2-1 against extending the Convention an extra day. I thought then as I do now that an extra day would help with everything that we try do at the Convention.

The question I asked did not specify whether the bourse floor would be open the extra day but I would guess that most dealers assumed it meant an extra day at their table. I think Pete has a great idea extending the Convention an extra day without having the bourse floor open. The only concern is would we be able to get the attendance. I'm there for 10 days as are alot of other people but for members who have to take vacation time or have family with them it may be difficult. I still think it is an idea that needs further discussion.
