Without a doubt your statement is one of best I have EVER read involving the planning of our convention.

In my opinion, there are many excellent ideas and suggestions floating around our membership. The problem IS the typical idiotic fall back reply for an intelligent suggestion "WHY DON'T YOU DO IT" prevents many of our members from sharing ideas.
It really gets old after awhile so most members keep their ideas to themselves. It's just easier than trying to explain WHY I DON'T HAVE TIME or WHY I DON'T VOLUNTEER.
