My understanding is that the catalogs are by annual subscription only, Dave. Your one payment gets you on them mailing list for all catalogs that year and a reminder when the next subscription payment is due. I talked to Howdy a couple of days ago so he does answer the phone when he's home. As Bob mentioned, you can also subscribe at the convention and there will be sample catalogs from past auctions to look at. You can also buy prior auction catalogs; I have an almost-complete set and find them very valuable for research.
