John, there are many people involved in our hobby. We come from all walks of life - have various interests, beliefs, etc. I have never advocated personal ethical standards that should be "forced" upon others. However, on the other hand we are discussing an aspect of the hobby that I believe reflects upon ALL collectors. You state 80% of those involved in our hobby collect roulettes. I do not believe this is correct. The collectors and dealers I "run" with believe like I do. Yet we accept others without judging. The problem develops when these "ethical" gurus, who take roulettes, hold themselves out publicly
as the example of holiness. They condemn others, such as the seller on ebay, BEFORE all the facts are in. They write notes back and forth creating an impression and illusion that THEY and THEY alone have ALL ETHICAL answers. This makes me sick! I do not like whats going on either John. I will stop. However I will not sit by now or in the future silently when I believe something needs to be said. My best to you, Jim
