Perhaps this would be an acceptable compromise with respect to the pre-registration packages of members who cannot attend the convention:

Allow them to be picked up by friends, but only after the casino goodies have been removed. That is, anything put in by the club or its members (for example, the name badge, dealer handouts, etc.) can be picked up by someone other than the attendee, but not any casino giveaways.

Alternatively, perhaps the package less casino items could be mailed out after the convention.

Would be nice for those of us who cannot attend to have something to remind us of what we missed!
