Nothing wrong with the seller being in the Insurance business too.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As a matter of fact, there is a lot wrong with a person being in the insurance business without the proper licensing. If the seller wants to expend the millions or so dollars to get licensed in all the states, then that's fine. If not, a felony is being committed acting as an unlicensed insurance company.
It seems that all ethics are tossed away when e-bay transactions take place. I just hope it is worth it to these unscrupulous sellers who try to milk the last few cents from a buyer.
Personally, although I buy very, very little from auctions, I will not pay over $1.00 for postage, and no insurance as I expect the seller to provide me with the goods I ordered and in good shape.
Again, I don't know or really care who this seller is (except that I would like to be aware of his practice for future reference) but you should receive what you paid for.
