"How come there were only the three pictures used of Secretariat"

I am pretty sure I explained this to you in person. There is a big problem in getting non-copywritten pictures of horses. Any horse with a good record has an "Official Photographer." Even the owner of the horse can not give you permission to use these pictures. Some horses have had several different "Official Photographers" throughout their racing career and their stud career. TOBA Syndicated Secretariat and they could not sign the release I needed to use pictures. I had to find the pictures. I had to find the photographers that took them. I had to get the rights for a price I could pay. Keep in mind some of these guys are in their 80's.
I spent 3 months getting the rights to the pictures I used. I ran out of time if I wanted chip production by Derby Day.
But, I will make you a deal. You get the 12 pictures and the releases for the next one. I'll get the chips done on time.
