I just got off the phone with the room reservations department at the Sands in Atlantic City who informs me that effective June 1st unless you are a Sands card member their will not make a reservation or give you a room at their property.

IMHO this is why Atlantic City is doing so poorly because they are removing more and more of the tables and only accepting room reservation for customers who are rated. If this trend continues the casino business in Atlantic City will be DEAD in 10 years because they are locking out some of their core customers.
