Pam, you are a Sweetheart!! ... You've just nailed it! Thank You!

Hopefully, we learn by our past experiences ... and unfortunately our past experiences have taught some of us who have served on past committees that a few club members are always angling for special treatment.

We've discovered club members wearing "loaned" dealer's badges at past conventions so that they could gain access to the convention floor during set up, when they were not entitled to be there. We've had volunteers who volunteered for set up duty ... only to be found examining inventory at dealers tables while they were supposed to be helping set up. We've discovered the People's Choice ballot box in the exhibit area stuffed with ballots with the same handwriting ... and I could go on and on.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending upon one's viewpoint, we are not a small club anymore where almost everybody knew most everybody else. We have security issues that are uppermost on our minds that would not have been a concern years ago. Valueless Pre-Registration packets which may have been treated very lightly last year, now have become very much sought after by those seeking out valuable coupons inside.
