Years ago many or the larger casinos in Monaco, Aix-les-Bains, Menton and Nice used them.

Each evening a colorful stamp such as the examples seen below would be pasted to the face of a plaque to ensure that all pieces in use were accounted for and passed security inspection. The next evening the stamps would be removed and replaced with new stamps.
