I doubt this release was meant to screw anyone.
Just as Mandalay Bay makes Chinese new year chips for their Asian Players - can't Hard Rock make a chip for their Performers & High Rollers?
It is not always or has to be about us collectors / dealers.
For the record - I did not get any of the $25 Chips.
