Harvey Houses were very tightly connected to the "Santa Fe" Railroad. In the Years prior to Dining cars Being pulled along with the train Meal Stops were scheduled into the trains timetable. I believe that "The Harvey Houses" along the Chicago / Los Angeles route were able to feed a full Train a Hot meal in a 30 Minute stopover. I may be wrong but I think there was still a Harvey House in Chicago Union Station untill Amtrak took over in 1972.
