I agree 100%, Peter. I have never understood why all sellers are inherently honest and all buyers are assumed to be crooks. Nothing tweaks me more in this eBay game than to send payment to a total stranger, with no hope of recourse if he steals it, and he has to wait for the check to clear before sending me my stuff. I NEVER "wait for the check to clear" when I'm the seller, and I usually send stuff as soon as I get clear confirmation money is on the way.
