Ah… so now you illustrate where your “line of hypocrisy” is… somewhere between the purchase price of an automobile and a TV, you have drawn a line where it is OK to not be loyal and “BUY AMERICAN”. I would like to further explore this and find out exactly where your cutoff point is, but I’ll leave that until later.
By the way, I think it’s great that your dad was on Omaha beach… actually mine was as well.
Now, I’ll answer ALL of your questions:
From your first post to me:
Where does your paycheck come from?
Answered.
Make it here spend it over there?
Answered in that I initially explained that I own foreign cars. However, since I am positive that the owners of the car dealerships from which I bought the cars are Americans, I can’t fully agree with your assessment. But as I have elaborated and you have chosen to ignore, like you have the entirety of both of my other posts, there is no “American” economy per se any more. It is a global economy and if this fact is not getting through to you then you are under educated and unaware.
Haven't we learned ANYTHING from 9-11?
Answered. Again, to bring the purchase of foreign automobiles into a conversation involving the events of September 11th is ludicrous.
From your second post:
Whats wrong with being loyal?
Answered.
Try to answer at least one of mt questions this time.It seems you can't answer any of them!
I have listed above ALL of the questions you asked in your previous posts, and they had all been addressed. Exactly what questions do you imagine that you have asked that I have not answered?
From the post above:
I see alot of sony products, but shurly you aren't compring them to an automobile are you?
Yes, I “shurly” am comparing audio products to automobiles… they are both goods where you have a choice of buying American-made or foreign-made products.
How many TV’s would you have to buy to equal one automobile?
Well, an average TV costs, say $500 and an average auto costs maybe $25,000, so doing the math I would say that the answer to question #1 is 50.
I have now answered EVERY question you have asked. Now here is my question to you:
Why do you feel that it is okay to buy Japanese televisions and not Japanese cars? How can you rationalize this? Do you feel that in some way buying a Japanese television is NOT supporting the Japanese economy while buying a Japanese car is? Please explain this… I’m sure all of the readers here would like to share in your thoughts.
