I didn't say our system was absolutley flawless but our system allows for EVERYONE to have access to very good health care. The sucess of our system is due to the fact that we do not have a two tiered system. Everyone is equal in the system. It does cost money and we pay for it through taxes but the cost does justify the tax. What I have a hard time dealing with is that the I live on the same continent as the greatest superpower in the world who can fund a war against terrorism but can't invoke a national health care system that would allow all its citizens equal and fair access to health care. I don't have the numbers but it would be interesting to know how many people in the US died from lack of health care last year. Don't get me wrong I do support the War on Terrorism and I would equally support a National war on health care reforms.
