Station House is changing to Tonopah Station. To reopen this week, any day now.
Now owned by Jim Marsh the Vegas car dealer. Jim's first casino venture was his Longstreet Inn & Casino in Amargosa Valley. Opened in 96. Located outside of Pahrump.
Jim had interest in the Mizpah but plans to reopen are halted as far as I know. It just takes too much money to bring the old building up to code & for weatherproofing it. Unfortunately my favorite Nevada casino is closed completely. No live games in years & the slots have been gone a couple of years too.
Jim owns the Banc Club in Tonopah also. This very small machines only casino does one heck of a business per square foot. Would you believe actually better than any other casino per square foot! It is the only game in town right now!
Jim bought the old Santa Fe Saloon in Goldfield many years ago. An Historic building always worth a stop. No chips are around but they had chips when the had a 21 table 1981 to 82.
Mr. Marsh is very into Nevada history & is always a pleasure to talk to. I have known him many years.
I will have the new Tonopah Station chips as soon as they come out. Or rather as soon as the mail gets them to me!
