I will be happy to work on it, but doesn't it have to be someone in Vegas? However, if I can help do that next year, I will volunteer. I realize that the local chapter folk are the ones who bear the heaviest burden but then that must be the price to be paid for having the convention in their home city.

I made the comment not just because of the original post but because in all my teaching and lawyering conventions events are planned for the non-lawyer guest.
