As far as dealers having an advantage...
I worked at Mel's table last year... and what I saw was two people (Mel and Lisa)with a wall of people at their table every moment. These folks ate at their table and I'm not sure if they even got to use a restroom.
I saw Bill A. and the O'Neals in the same situation. In fact, most of the dealers and people with tables were non-stop busy.
Doc Myers not only runs his table, but is giving advice, opinions and sharing research, ideas and his expertise. Andy was running around delivering TCR's - he made a point to find me so I'd have mine. I don't begrudge the dealers a couple hours to do what they love - that's why they are there.
Unless I am mistaken, most dealers DO collect chips... and 2 hours is hardly enough time to sift through the 10,000's of chips available to scam up all the good ones.
Just my opinion
I'll see you there Bernie!
