"Members & the general public all get in at the same time." ... NOT.
Before ANYONE gets in ... they must stop by the Registration table and obtain a badge to get past door security. There are over 600 club members who have already pre-registered with Donna Herhold and she will have their pre-registration packages waiting for them at the pre-registration area. These packages will contain your admission credentials, plus all the goodies and coupons that everyone clamored for last year. Those who did not pre-register will not receive the "goody bags" with the coupons.
All those who have NOT pre-registered (members and non-members) MUST check in at the Registration table and present their membership card and pay the one-day, two-day, or three-day member or non-member admission fee and get the appropriate colored badge before being allowed on the convention floor ... or to attend any of the scehduled functions and convention activities.
The reason I mention this is for the benefit of first-time visitors to the show. I would suggest that you arrive well before the 10:00 a.m. opening bell.... as the Registration table gets a little hectic each morning ... especially on the first day when the badges are being distributed for the duration of the convention.
If you simply show up at 10:00 a.m. you will find yourself on the end of a very long line while lots of folks are already inside.
