Jerry's strength was that the players felt very comfortable with him, which made for pleasing interviews. If you ever met Jerry Dogget, you would know why the players liked him.

Ross Porter is the one whose announcing I don't care for. Too many dry statistics. I think that the best #2 announcer the Dodgers had was Don Drysdale. I do miss him.
