If you are a NY Yankee fan, and who isn't, Phil Rizzutto is the best sportscaster ever. Before he is anything, he is a Yankee and a Yankee fan. He played with, and reported on, all the greats. His personal knowledge of the game and the players always made him interesting. You can say that his view is biased in one direction, but he came from a day when club loyalty was expected and that is what the Yankee fans wanted. There are other great sportscasters, but for a Yankees fan, there is only one, Phil Rizzutto.
