$1,500 each chip, dutch auction didn't fly. Next time they were reduced to $625 each and sold as a complete set. Still no bids.
If the seller wants to take a chance and see what the real market for these is, put them up for $100 each and eight auctions.
I have offered a $300 wooden fishing lure, starting at $10 and had no problem getting bidders and right up to the market value.
I think some folks hesitate to bid when an item is starting out at a high price. But once bidding starts it seems like people get into the game and continue bidding.
Just my personal views, I could be full of beans.
