Deciding to play poker with the guys who wanted to practice last week, I signed up with Party Poker.
When I went in to deposit $50 with my credit card it was declined. Now you need to understand that I use credit cards as a convenience and pay the total balance when due. I figuered it was an error by the credit card company, and didn't give it a second thought. I then proceded to use another card with no problem. Rhona and I left last Friday morning in the HotRod for three days in Bakersfield, Ca. for a HotRod show. At one point Friday morning Rhona tried to use the same card for a purchase of $21. and again the card was declined. Needless to say, we put that card away for the weekend.
Last monday after our return to Las Vegas, I called the credit card company to find out why my card was declined twice.
I was told that federal law would not allow them to charge my card for an online casino, and at that point they froze my card to make sure that my card was not in the wrong hands.
Has anyone else had this problem charging to use an online casino?
