I know exactly how you feel.

A very well known antique magazine publisher went to eBay Auctions and pulled several scans of rare plaques and chips (my material) to use in a price quide of theirs. They also used my minimum bids as values... which was fine wit me at the time.

I'm now told that it would be illegal for me to use those same scans, anywhere, since they're protected.

I'm also told that the magazine had every right to use my scans without asking permission.
