A very well-known antique magazine publisher went to eBay Auctions and pulled several scans of rare plaques and chips (my material) to use in a price guide of theirs. The values used were my minimum bids... which I had no problem with.

Now I'm told it would be illegal for me to publish those same scans, anywhere, because they're protected.

I'm also told that they had every right to do what they did without asking me.
