I dunno .... I may be getting a little bit dense around the edges in understanding all this (gotta be careful with choosing my words here so as not to offend anyone) .... but does anyone else on this bulletin board think that David W. has done nothing wrong by altering brass-core chips?? And if David W. has done nothing wrong .... what lack of cooperation from club members is not forthcoming?
Let's see if I got this right; David was a club member at the time this complaint was brought forth by another club member (or club members) who are un-named. (Can we see the text of the actual complaint .... leaving names out?) Additional un-named club member(s) are accused of violating the club's code of conduct because they will not come forward and cooperate in an investigation... The un-named club members are subject to an un-named non-defined penalty to be administered by the club officers at a later date for violating a section of the club's code of ethics; but David is guilty of nothing ... is no longer a member of the club ... and is welcome to attend the convention ostensibly to sell his altered brass-core creations with the letter "W" embossed on these altered chips to un-named chip dealers.
No disrepect or offense is intended to our very capable Claims Director Jim Reilly or the club officers.... but I've got to be missing out on something here ... BIG TIME. I can't wait to see the rest of the report when/if it's released. It's getting to read like an episode of the Sopranos!
Are we still living in America when we are forced to give testimony against someone who has alegedly done nothing wrong? ..... Or DID David do something wrong? If David has done nothing wrong (which is what I've interpreted in several posts now), then why are we spending all this time and effort and causing all this unrest among dedicated chippers?
