Name calling and the "I'm taking my ball and going home because you won't do things the way I want" approach...

You said it in a better way than I would have. First off, name calling is a only filler for when you are void of anything intelligent to say.

However, it's the 'taking your ball home' statement that no one has addressed. I have always felt that if you think you're right, you stay and fight. Quitting reflects badly on the quitter.

The previous BOD was also subject the cruelest of comments by members of this bb. How in the world did the present BOD not realize that at some point they, too would be the recipients of the same crass and crude remarks. I am not condoning the remarks made to the current board, but it is the height of naiveté to not expect to receive at some point in their administration a similar verbal flogging.

BTW, this is why I did not sign onto the "Marty Reconsider" thread. I also did not post any "Janice come back" or "Gene please return" or "Say it ain't so Jim" posts. In a lesser vein, I never posted regrets when all the quitters to Greg's BB posted their parting speeches.

Conversely, Nate and Ralph, 2 BOD members who have been single out on numerous occasions in an uncomplimentary manner, have stood their ground, absorbed criticism but continue their work. There is something to admire about that.

(BTW, this in no way condones Ralph's flip-flop on slabbing)
