in the national club magazine(spring 2001 issue) on page 15, under the slabfree chapter it reads"there is no LIST to sign or become a part of, no boycott pleade to take. just the belief that the slabbing of chips and tokens brings nothing of value to our hobby.
how come ,i think ,andy hughes was going around saying we now 346 on THE LIST
now the slabfree chapter has pledge:
i will not deal with slabber or anybody involved with the slabbing of chips.sounds like a boycott to me.
so slabfree chapter is alist of people who don't want slabbed chips, if somebody started the TOKENFREE CHAPTER ,just a list of collectors who don't collect tokens, would that be a bad thing?no ban or boycott just a list to say these people only collect chips.
i tend to think that tokens and chips are in 2 different classes.i know of 1 person who only collects tokens so offering him chips for sale is useless.2 meetings ago i offered some tokens in our club auction nobody wanted them.i donated them to our club thanks bruce landau for bidding on them.
