Thanks to all of you that responded to my "Lame Idea" post...You were all so supportive that I went ahead and placed an ad in our local newspaper. " Paying cash for casino chips from any and all casino's". The ad is set up to run for 30 days and began in yesterday mornings paper.

And to my shock and surprise, three hours after the paper hits the street I get a call at my office. " Is this Jim? I see you buy casino chips. Well I have one I'd like to get rid of. Had it for maybe 35 years or so, just sitting around. It say's $5 on the face of the chip, and
Las Vegas Hilton International. Would you give me $5 for it?" Well I will, and he is bringing the chip to my office this weekend. Or so he said. He sounded quite old and weak of voice on the phone.

But hey...this is like fishing, and after casting my line out, it seems I just got a bite almost before the lure hit the water.
May be the only call I get in 30 days. But what fun I think this is going to be. I will keep you posted as to how well this all goes. Hey wait a minute.... There IS, or WAS a Hilton International in Vegas ...Right?
