Oh you roulette harvesters! Unfortunately I work in a casino where we verify each color before we sell it again. We also track you down. We have only one entrance / exit. Here are some times when it seems that we lose our roulette chips.
1. We lose most of our roulettes when the dealers change to go on break or at shift change.
2. The supervisor is busy trying to calculate the pay out on another table.
3. Between 10 chips and a stack is missing and the dealer believes that the player is still at the table.
4. The player leaves right away.
We do catch people when:
1. They stop at the cage to cash out.
2. Hang around to take a look at their bounty while they think they are hidden in the slot area. (There’s cameras in the building people)
3. They are the only player at the table.
4. More than a stack is missing.
As strange as it may seem, each time I receive a phone call to retrieve roulette chips I have another situation that is more important to deal with. By the time I have dealt with it, the person is usually gone.
