is it a webtv thing???
We have 2 of the Cal-Neva tri-lobes, the brown on one is darker than the other. They were both more than 15¢...they were both more than $7....But we did get our Frank Sinatra Cal-Neva for $2 and our Hotel Elwell for $5
Probably our rarest ashtray (also a tri-lobe) is from the Santa Anita Turf Club (downtown) "Phone 85 or 789"...then again, maybe the Sal Sagev hexagon is rarer... I've never seen another of either one. (I know-get a scanner! )
Another rare tri-lobe is the Playland Arcade, we bought that around November 2000. A couple more have shown up on ebay since then.
Over the years, I've heard several rumors about a new ashtray book. One man actually had started scanning his collection, for a book, and said he was thinking of bringing the discs to the CCGT&CC show to get feedback....but that was about 2 years ago. (Can't remember his name....yobyart on ebay). He also told me that Roxy ____ (traylady on ebay) was thinking about doing one. We sure do need one!! We ran into Art Anderson at a show a few years ago, he said he won't be doing an updated version.
