I once took about 150 one-dollar chips from various Las Vegas casinos to the cage at the Stratosphere. The cashier checked them out then promptly paid cash for them. The only question she had was regarding a Casino Royale chip. She had thought that casino had closed down.

And yes they were all current chips I cashed! Although now that I think of it, I seemed to have misplaced my $1 green H&C Landmark...hope it wasn't mixed in!
