TGT indicates that this chip is from Newport, KY, circa. '51 - '59. If so, any ideas what GS stands for? Owner is shown to be Peter Schmidt. Any more, or corrective info would be appreciated for my records. I got it, and an hourglass "R&C" red, terribly warpped at a gun show here in Tucson.

"R&C" is not in the TGT. Any suggestions?
