My initial response to you was intended to point out that Jim Kruse, just moments before posting the message about Mr. Boyd did in fact post another message that stated Mr. Boyd would be the Guest Speaker at the Convention Banquet.
Regular readers to this BB, both members of the CC>CC and non-members alike, probably have a good idea that the Convention Banquet that Jim Kuuse was referring to was the Club's Annual Convention Banquet which takes place this year on Wednesday, June 5th at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino.
Rather than explain all that, or repeat what info Jim Kruse had posted, I was simply trying to direct you to the information (in Jim's prior post).
Regarding the email comment, let me say this about that......
First off, No, an email address is not a requirement for participation on the BB. I was only trying to be helpful in that I saw that your earlier posts about Win Cards, especially your request for specific chips, went un-headed. I think it was because no one could contact you off-line, as many people have a reluctance to make deals directly on the BB. I know that many do, however, I suspect that the people that read your request were being about as open as you were.
We welcome nearly any and all participation on the BB, but have been tested to an extreme by one or more individuals who thought they could be confrontational, inappropriate, threatening, and have even tried to commandeer some of our ranks identities and post messages of disent.
There have been three or four things of consistency with the problem poster, those being the use of a single name, the lack of an email address, access via an AOL Account and a general lack of knowledge about what is going on on the BB, or about us as a group, or other similar lack of knowledge towards what is happening. None of these factors as a singular item would cause concern, only when taken as a whole.
However, I was still trying to be helpful when I suggested that you include an email address, as it was obvious that no one was responding publicly.
None of us wish to assume anything, however we all like to know who or what we are dealing with. I for one would like to know a little bit more about you. Simple things, like, do you collect? Are you familiar with the CC>CC? Would you like some information? Where are you from? And lastly, the question I always ask, are you a minor?
Please, tell us about yourself.
Sincerely,
Jim Follis
