Robert- Excellent suggestions... all of them. I don't think that most folks realize the enormous challenge that befalls "the committee". As you have pointed out, many standards will have to be developed to cover all aspects of grading a various assortment of chip types.
One thing that has been overlooked by EVERYBODY so far is the fact that this is a club of chip & TOKEN collectors. While the current grading discussion is centered around chipping, I'm sure a lot of slot token collector club members are going to feel neglected if they are not included in this worthwhile ambitious project.
Speak up you lurkers! That's what this bb is for. Don't be intimidated by those who claim that someone is going to jump down your collective throats for expressing an opinion... while they remain in the dark shadows. Last I noticed, this is still America! How is anyone going to know what the rest of you think if you are reluctant to post an opinion? Then after the adopted guidelines are eventually published, will we hear all the belllyaching about why your viewpoint was not represented?
